DAMP DOWN,
a shaggy tail from the ground up, in honor of Hedda. A meandering performance in English read by three artists. Outside. Approximately 20 minutes.
George Rippon, Elif Saydam and Anna Zacharoff have been working together since 2013, organizing publications, theatre performances, and readings throughout Germany, Canada and the United States. For their first performance in Sweden, the artists are working collaboratively with Ebba von Wachenfeldt and IIta Jaakonaho, producing unique glass pieces as both props for poetry and future stagings. Drawing inspiration from Skeppsta Hytta's dog Hedda and Flush, the Spaniel of the poet Elizabeth Barrett-Browning, the artists will speak through mushrooms and muzzles to tell a story of highmindedness from a low perspective.
